- Are you looking for a way to do something just a bit more for your son's or daughter's FAVORITE activity (AYSO Region 9, or course)?

- Do you have some untapped or under-used organizational, managerial and/or financial skills?
You may be just the person we are looking for!
Region 9 would like to find 1 or 2 individuals to manage or co-manage our Snack Bar operation for the upcoming Fall 2008 season.
If you were around the Creek last year, you know that we were limited to selling drinks and packaged snacks due to some conflicts with the construction scheduling at the Creek. Hot food and hot & specialty drinks were being sold by outside vendors.
With our paved parking lot slated to be done by early August, we plan to relocate our new Snack Bar more centrally, on the west side of our fields. In anticipation of that, we would like to make sure that we have 1 or 2 volunteers excited by the idea of restarting one of our most popular sources of enjoyment for the kids and their families. And, one of the primary sources of fund-raising for the Region!
The AYSO Snack Bar is NOT a 1-person (or 2-person) operation! The Region will make sure that you are properly trained and certified, and that you are supported in the financial, staffing and supply phases of the enterprise: financially, by our Regional Treasurer; and with staffing, by our Director of Volunteers. Region 9 has long-standing relationships with several local suppliers (but we are ALWAYS open to new ideas and ways of getting things done, if you have experience in this area).
