After the regularly scheduled season families get busy with the holidays and many children move on to other sports. What do you do if your child still wants more soccer?
WELCOME TO AYSO REGION 9 “PREMIER LEAGUE”
AYSO is an all-volunteer organization and our program can only take place with your participation as a coach, referee or in other supporting positions. The number and size of teams we field will depend on the adult support we receive.
Premier League stresses skills and fun. This program is run by Region 9 and has no other advancements to other levels. We ask that children selected for All-Stars teams do not play in this league so they can devote their time and talent to one team.
Registration: Please complete an application form (Click Here; Adobe Reader required) for each player. Forms can be turned into the Info booth at the fields or mailed to the address at the bottom of the application.
Fee: The fee is $50 per player ($60 for non-Region 9 players, to partially cover what National charges us per player) . Players will receive game jersey; game socks and Premier League T-shirt. Shorts are not included. Players will need to have black shorts.
Dates: The first game day will be January 12, 2008. Weather permitting games will be each Saturday morning with the last games played March 1st, 2008 (a week later than originally announced).
Players: Children that played in the regular season U7, U8; U10; U12; U14 divisions will be placed in the same age grouping. Players joining for the first time will be placed based on their age on July 31, 2007.
U7 - Games will be governed by the same rules that were used in the regular season. U8 - Games will be governed by the same rules that were used in the regular season. U10- Games will be governed by the same rules that were used in the regular season. U12- Teams may be mixed to provide coed teams depending on the number of players registering. U14- Teams will be coed. Teams will play with smaller numbers and possibly smaller fields. This will be determined by the number of players registered and with consultation of U14 coaches.
