2008 Soccer COACHING Clinics
Coaches,
ALL
coaches are REQUIRED to take AYSO Safe Haven and age-correct coach training.
This year we coordinated our Region 9 clinics with
Region 4 – so you have (5) separate weekends to attend mandatory coaching
clinics. If you are certified already, we encourage you to take another clinic
annually as a refresher to get new ideas for practices and drills. Continue to
check our website for details and any new clinics that we add:

Assistant coaches – yes, you need to be a certified
coach as well – you need to take Safe Haven, and age-correct training is
mandatory for U10 – U19 assistants. We want you to know your soccer!!

SAFE HAVEN is a REQUIRED one-time volunteer protection
certification and we suggest you take it at 8AM on the clinic dates
above. If you have a conflict you can take it online at
http://www.aysotraining.org/
NOTE: (You need to be registered as a volunteer BEFORE you
take any online courses)
No advance registration is necessary for above classes – just
show up.
OUT OF REGION COACHING CLASSES
– Yes you may take courses out of region. Region 4 (Westlake)
is offering U6 through U14 courses on July 12 and August 2, with an
Intermediate on August 14th. EMAIL ME after you have finished
