This fall we will be playing at Borchard Park field #4 (the soccer > pitch). The fee per game is still $5.00 per night. The information flyer is located at http://www.quickscores.com/downloads/crpd_fallsoccer2.pdf and may be viewed and/or downloaded. If you have any questions please send the question via email to sports@crpd.org or call the CRPD Sports office weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm. Added 8/1/2008 - (from Bob Tokin) Thanks for all those who have signed up to play in the fall. We will be forming the teams over the next several weeks. You should hear from a coach around the end of August. Teams can't get together before 9/1 since that is when our insurance goes into effect. We will have 10 teams this year - good turnout!! Look forward to seeing you out there!! Added 3/19/2008 - Applications for the Fall 2008 Season are now being accepted! Updated 4/13/2007 - Application and Fair Play Pledge Referees Needed! Click here Thousand Oaks, Region 9, AYSO, has instituted an adult league for the purpose of giving adults the same opportunity as the youth of our community to learn and enjoy the game of soccer. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and fair environment for all who want to simply enjoy the game and get plenty of exercise. This is NOT a competitive league, and standings are not kept. Those looking for competition and hard play will not find this league to meet their needs, but those who just want a chance to play the game in a safe and fun environment will get exactly that. The league is open to everyone who is 19 years of age and older (Born before 8/1/1989) It is a coed league that follows all of the philosophies of the youth league. It is open to all ages (19 and up) regardless of skills and/or experience. The only requirement is that you come out to have some fun! We are now prepared to begin registration for our second season!! Our thanks to all of those who participated last year and made the league a big success! The first game will be Sunday 9/8/08 and run for 11 to 12 weeks. All games will be on Sunday’s with start times of 10:00, 12:00 or 2:00. For your convenience you can register three ways: We must have the hard paperwork within 2 weeks of applying on line for your registration to be complete. BOTH must be completed and received to be fully registered. Proper legal identification for age verification is required – drivers license or birth certificate (include a copy if you are a New Player applying by mail). Registration at
Aspen Elementary – 1872 Oberlin Ave – Thousand Oaks (note the dates below
are the same as the youth registration for AYSO): We plan to have the same number of coed teams in the fall. Registration will remain open until May 30, 2008 or until 180 players have registered – whichever comes first!!! A waiting list will be maintained beyond the registration cut off. So complete your registration on time!! We had mentioned previously that we would hold a “soccer fest” prior to the start of the season. Unfortunately that will not be possible this yr. We plan to have the teams formed by mid August so you can get together the week before the 1st game. We maintain a zero tolerance policy in regard to any violation of our Fair Play Pledge and the basic safety and sportsmanship rules of our league. Anyone not willing to follow this philosophy will be asked to leave our league and find another more suitable to their needs. The following are some of the violations of our league that will result in permanent removal from the AYSO Adult Amateur League: • Slide-tackling We reserve the right to determine any other causes for removal at the discretion of the league board based on the severity of the offense. We look forward to seeing you out there!! Adult League Staff For

Attention AYSO and/or USSF referees! Because this is an adult soccer program rather than a youth soccer program, AYSO referee training does not qualify you for officiating these matches. Not to worry! If you are an AYSO Intermediate referee or above, you are eligible to cross-certify with USSF (and Region 9 will even pick up the cost, so long as you volunteer to officiate at least 5 AYSO Region 9 Adult League matches during the season!).
